The Patrick Meiklejohn Collection of Nevada Hotel and Casino Ephemera (1970s-1994) consists of 117 decks of casino and airline playing cards and casino marketing material and ephemera. The playing cards include decks from the El Rancho Vegas, the Four Queens, and Bonanza Fallon casinos, as well as Pan Am and Western Airlines. Marketing materials include hats, keychains, bags, pens, and napkins. There is also a representative sample of empty shampoo bottles, soaps wrappers, and other hotel room courtesy item packaging, primarily from Las Vegas, Nevada casinos.

Patrick W. Meiklejohn was born in Redlands, California in 1943. After completing a degree in film production, he began a career as a child abuse social worker in Los Angeles, California. Since retiring, Meiklejohn has returned to film, taking acting roles and working to produce an independent film.
