The Ron Lawrence Collection of 1980 Reno Gay Rodeo Photographs consists of 87 35mm color slides of the 1980 National Reno Gay Rodeo which took place August 1-3, 1980, in Reno, Nevada. The images are presumably taken by Lawrence. Images show different events such as bronc riding, calf roping, and barrel racing. Also included are views of spectators sitting in the stands, dancing, and preparing for events.

In 2025, Sarah Jones accessioned the collection, rehoused the material, and wrote the finding aid in ArchivesSpace. Slides 0154_0025 and 0154_0069 were blank and intentionally left out of the inventory.
