The Pearl Francis Neeley Photograph Collection (approximately 2000-2024) consists of digital reproductions of Francis and Neeley family photographs taken from approximately 1890 to 1945 throughout Central and Southern Nevada. Notable locations include Pioche, Eagle Valley, Spring Valley, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included in the collection is a digital reproduction of an autobiographical typescript by Neeley titled “My Life History,” and a multipart audio recording of Neeley recollecting her experiences growing up in rural Nevada and other events in her life.

Oral history interview with Jocelyn Oats conducted by Claytee D. White and John Grygo on November 30, 2012 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Oats discusses her family background and living in Las Vegas, Nevada since the mid 1950s. She describes the city at the time, the Baptist church community, and the church's influence on African Americans in West Las Vegas. Later, Oats talks about the issue of drugs in the Westside community and how it has affected members in her family.

Oral history interview with William Eugene Plaid conducted by Claytee D. White on June 03, 2015 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Plaid begins by describing his family history and his upbringing in Illinois, telling stories from his childhood and young adulthood concerning his jobs, education, and discrimination he faced as an African American.

Oral history interview with Michael Maxwell conducted by Claytee D. White on February 25, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Maxwell discusses his personal history and his role as Director of Early Childhood Connection with the Las Vegas, Nevada Urban League. He describes the work he does with childcare, and how the Urban League receives funding. Maxwell also recalls his career as a teacher and administrator for the Clark County School District (CCSD).

The Dennis McBride Photograph Collection (approximately 1904-2018) contains over 5,000 individual photographic prints, negatives, digital images, and postcards that depict various events, people, and locations, across southern Nevada, particularly from the 1960s to the 1990s. The postcards depict a large number of hotels and casinos in cities throughout Nevada including Las Vegas, Tahoe, Reno, and Boulder City.

The Pueblo Grande de Nevada Photograph Collection (approximately 1920-1980) contains black-and-white photographic prints, negatives, and slides depicting archaeological sites located in Overton, Moapa, Valley of Fire, Red Rock, Pyramid Lake, Kane Springs, Virgin River, the “Lost City,” and Lake Mead, Nevada. Images display the different stages of digging during the archaeological excavation of Pueblo Grande de Nevada.

The John C. Olsen Photograph Collection (approximately 1950 to 1969) consists of black-and-white photographic prints, negatives, and one scrapbook. Images depict scenes from the annual Helldorado Celebration in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Shriners’ Parade in downtown Las Vegas, various hotels along the Las Vegas Strip, the Last Frontier Village at the Last Frontier Hotel, Las Vegas, natural landscapes at Mount Charleston and Rhyolite, Nevada, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, Twin Lakes, and petroglyphs in Valley of Fire Nevada State Park.

The Bob Friedlander Jazz Music Manuscripts (approximately 1960-1980) are comprised of music manuscripts arranged by Bob Friedlander and collected by the Arnold Shaw Popular Music Research Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some titles are photocopies of the original manuscript. Friedlander arranged for big band musicians such as Harry James, Sam Donahue, Richard Maltby, Ralph Flanagan, and Johnny Long.

The Ham Family Photograph Collection contains five photographic albums primarily featuring images of the Ham family's travels throughout the western United States and Artemus W. Ham Jr. and Betty Ham Dokter during their childhood between approximately 1900-1949. Also included is one photograph used as a Christmas greeting for the Ham family from 1981. The photographs feature locations including Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah; Grand Canyon, Arizona; and Yosemite National Park, California. The collection also contains photographs of the Ham family at Mormon sites throughout Utah.

The Greg Clemens Photograph Collection contains ten black-and-white contact sheets depicting aerial views of Las Vegas, Nevada in 1965. The contact sheets contain approximately eighty-two images showing views of McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Convention Center, downtown Las Vegas, and residential neighborhoods.
