Oral history interview with Henry E. Wellman conducted by Rebecca Rounds on March 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wellman discusses his personal history and the history of Boulder City, Nevada. Wellman describes the construction of Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam), being a laborer working on the dam, and life in Boulder City during the 1940s. He talks about the United States government selling housing and land after the completion of Hoover Dam and how Las Vegas, Nevada has changed and expanded.

The Stella Champo Iaconis Photograph Collection (approximately 1890-1950) contains four black-and-white photographic prints of the Helldorado Days celebration held in Las Vegas, Nevada and three photograph albums with family photographs. Included in the albums are images of Italian family members, and Stella and her sister Irene as young children on their family ranch in Southern Nevada in the 1920s and 1930s.

Oral history interview with William Wright conducted by Andrew Weiss on February 26, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wright discusses his career working for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and life in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1940s. Wright describes how Las Vegas and its casinos have changed and expanded, the crash of Carole Lombard's plane, and the history of McCarran International Airport.

Oral history interview with Nanyu Tomiyasu conducted by Samanthia Kerwin on March 11, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Tomiyasu discusses his family life, being raised on a farm, and enlisting in the United States Army some time between 1940 and 1944. Tomiyasu talks about growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada and witnessing changes in the city including hotel and casino construction and change in ownership. Tomiyasu describes transportation in Nevada and people moving to Las Vegas for job opportunities.

Oral history interview with Dan Skanovsky conducted by Richard A. Kelly on April 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Skanovsky discusses the legalization of gambling and his experiences in the gambling industry in Nevada. Skanovsky talks about living in Tonopah, Nevada. Later, Skanovsky discusses casinos, their operations, and the chances of winning money in casinos.

Oral history interview with Betty Saunders conducted by Carolyn Lathrope on April 1, 2005 for the UNLV Women's Studies Veteran Oral History Project. In this interview, Saunders discusses her career in the U.S. Air Force. She describes the environment and culture including living quarters, training, and promotions. Saunders talks about her experience as an African American woman in the military including how marriage and pregnancy affected her.

Oral history interview with Sonny Reizner conducted by Jack Painter on an unknown date between 1970 and 1985 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Reizner discusses his time working at the sports book for Castaways Hotel and Casino Bowling in Las Vegas, Nevada. Reizner goes into detail about writing and managing the sports books. Later, Reizner talks about sports betting, the process, and its growth. Finally, Reizner describes the culture of sports betting and the logistics of how to succeed in the field.

The Dorothy Dorothy Photograph Collection (approximately 1910-1985) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives as well as colored transparencies of Dorothy Dorothy. Included are photographs of campaigns, meetings, and banquets with various local and federal politicians. Also included are photographs of her husband, Dale Dorothy, and their ranch in Pahrump, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Joe Pavlikowski conducted by Jay Brewer in 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Pavlikowski discusses his career in politics and as a district judge after his move to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s. Pavikowski describes his time at Nellis Air Force Base while he served in the U.S. Air Force. Finally, he talks about changes throughout Las Vegas, specifically economic, environmental, and legal changes regarding gambling.
