Oral history interview with A. Henry Stevenson II conducted by Ross Ann Lee on February 27, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stevenson discusses his personal history and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. He describes moving to Las Vegas for treatment for a medical affliction and his first house in the city. He describes his and his brother's involvement in the legalization of gambling in Nevada and the history of the Boulder Club, where he was employed. Stevenson goes on to talk about the history of the Tule Springs Ranch.

Oral history interview with Vernon G. Stockall conducted by Stephanie Aylward on February 11, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stockall discusses arriving to Pioche, Nevada in 1935 as a miner. Stockall then describes the early aboveground atomic tests that were done at the Nevada Test Site. Stockall later shares his thoughts on the growth of gaming in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stockall also recalls the growth of Boulder City, Nevada and the construction of Boulder (Hoover) Dam.

Oral history interview with Do Stiver conducted by Irene Arambula on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stiver discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1946 with her husband and recalls their involvement in numerous businesses. She then describes the Huntridge neighborhood and its development. Stiver later recalls the pollution emitted from the factories and the increase of smog in Henderson, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Roy Stinedurf Jr. conducted by Deborah J. Taylor on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stinedurf discusses the development and growth of Las Vegas, Nevada. Stinedurf recalls the earliest hotels and casinos including El Rancho, Desert Inn, Sahara, Riviera, Stardust, and The Royal Nevada. Later in the interview, Stinedurf discusses Las Vegas history regarding the development of casinos and the increase in local businesses.

The Howard Cannon Photograph Collection (1950-1983) contains photographic prints, negatives, and one slide featuring Senator Howard Cannon at various political and publicity events with military personnel, political colleagues, and constituents primarily in the state of Nevada. Other photographs feature Cannon at political and publicity events outside of Nevada including California, New York, Florida, Oregon, and Washington, D.C.

Oral history interview with George Ullum II conducted by Gerald Brooks on September 28, 1986 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ullum discusses his upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1910s. He describes life in the city during the early twentieth century and how the city changed and expanded, including construction of various buildings, casinos, and roads.

Oral history interview with Fred Thompson conducted by Henry A. LeClaire Jr. on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Thompson discusses his personal history and upbringing in Nevada. Thompson describes moving around the state due to his father's work as a miner and the types of ores his father would mine, including tungsten and uranium. Thompson also describes life in the rural desert, desert wildlife, the miners' lifestyle, and the interactions he had with Native Americans.

Oral history interview with Charles Weaver conducted by Rod S. Nolan on October 25, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Weaver discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s in search of job opportunities. Weaver then discusses the increase of gambling on the Las Vegas Strip. Weaver goes on to describe the development of Henderson, Nevada and recalls the significance of the Basic Magnesium Plant to the growth of Henderson.

Oral history interview with Marilyn V. Tamre conducted by Sheri L. Woodward on March 09, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Tamre discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1955 and life in the city. Tamre describes how Las Vegas has changed and expanded, as well as what forms of recreation were available during the 1950s. She goes on to discuss how hospitable the casinos were to their guests, economic changes in the city, and flooding problems in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Linda Van Tuyl conducted by Ruth Brainard on February 22, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Van Tuyl discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1948 to work as a nurse and describes nursing practices during that time. Later, Van Tuyl discusses the integration of accessibility accommodations for people with disabilities throughout Las Vegas. Van Tuyl later shares her thoughts on Medicare and other forms of health insurance.
